In 1787, the constitution was drafted with a preamble to explicitly state that the origins of power in this new democracy reside
MAXImum [283]
In my opinion, yes, there are still groups who are disenfranchised and not considered as an equal source of power in our democracy. An example of these people is those in the lower class of the society. In today's setting, only the 'representatives' have power and those whom they represent do not.

Write an essay on what you know about Alexander Hamilton.

No links
Need this ASAP
mario62 [17]

Explanation:

Alexander Hamilton was an American revolutionary, statesman and Founding Father of the United States. I know he was best known for being a founding father, who fought in the American Revolutionary War, helped draft the Constitution, and served as the first secretary of the treasury. He was also the founder and chief architect of the American financial system.

I know Aaron Burr slays Alexander Hamilton in duel. In one of the most famous duels in American history, Vice President Aaron Burr fatally shoots his long-time political antagonist Alexander Hamilton. Hamilton, a leading Federalist and the chief architect of America's political economy, died the following day.

How did the debate over the bill of rights influence the rights that were finally included in these ten amendments?
lidiya [134]
The debate was about a strong national government versus basic civil liberties. If it hadn't been for the debates on the amendments, who knows what would've been added and what not. Thanks to the debates, things like the right to bear arms and the right to refuse to give your home to the army were added, as well as things like the states having the right to decide things that are not decided by the congress.
