Mark could travel 682.5 miles in 7.5 hours.

To solve this you have to find how fast he travels per hour.
455 miles/5 hours=91 mph
91 mph multiplied by 7.5 hours(91 x 7.5)= 682.5
682.5 Miles in 7.5 hours

Hope this helped you! :D

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

one circle, lets name it x, Circumference(x)=2*3.14*r= 3.14*d, where d is the diameter

C=2*11*3.14

circle y= Circumference(y)=3.14*2*4

ratio of the radii

C(x)/C(y)=(2*11*3.14)/(2*4*3.14)=11/4= 2 3/4

x=0.\overline{3}\\
10x=3.\overline{3}\\
10x-x=3.\overline{3}-0.\overline{3}\\
9x=3\\
x=\dfrac{3}{9}=\dfrac{1}{3}\\\\
x=-0.\overline{2}\\
10x=-2.\overline{2}\\
10x-x=-2.\overline{2}-(-0.\overline{2})\\
9x=-2.\overline{2}+0.\overline{2}\\
9x=-2\\
x=-\dfrac{2}{9}\\\\
x=1.\overline{7}\\
10x=17.\overline{7}\\
10x-x=17.\overline{7}-1.\overline{7}\\
9x=16\\
x=\dfrac{16}{9}=1\dfrac{7}{9}

x=-2.\overline{6}\\
10x=-26.\overline{6}\\
10x-x=-26.\overline{6}-(-2.\overline{6})\\
9x=-26.\overline{6}+2.\overline{6}\\
9x=-24\\
x=-\dfrac{24}{9}=-2\dfrac{2}{3}\\\\
x=0.4\overline{6}\\
10x=4.\overline{6}\\
100x=46.\overline{6}\\
100x-10x=46.\overline{6}-4.\overline{6}\\
90x=42\\
x=\dfrac{42}{90}=\dfrac{7}{15}

x=-1.8\overline{3}\\
10x=-18.\overline{3}\\
100x=-183.\overline{3}\\
100x-10x=-183.\overline{3}-(-18.\overline{3})\\
90x=-183.\overline{3}+18.\overline{3}\\
90x=-165\\
x=-\dfrac{165}{90}=-1\dfrac{5}{6}

The dimensions of a rectangular garden is 3 m by 10 m. When both dimensions are increased by equal amounts, the area of the gard
Ksju [112]

Answer:

5 by 12 m

Step-by-step explanation:

The area for rectangle is LxW

The original area is 3*10, or 30 meters.

When both dimensions are increased, now the area is 60.

We can now inch up slowly to see what works:

3.5 and 10.5=36.75 X

4 and 11=40 X

5 and 12=60 YES!

The new dimensions of the garden are 5 m by 12 m, increased by 2, and the new area is 60 meters^2.
