how to observe carefully the real picture of your unit by examining social
relationships, identify areas of conflict or if there are group alliances and
how larger organization perceived your unit. Then, you need to have a sense of
self-awareness, integrity and good reputation where others can trust you
especially with confidential information. Lastly, work beyond what is expected
and be ready to support others because teamwork will play a greater role in
organizational politics.
