X is representing the measure of how tall the ceiling is, each of the outside rectangles are 1 of the 4 walls and should each have the same height, so x should equal 2.5 m

PEMDAS is the order of operations....it is the order u solve equations.
P = parenthesis....u solve what is in parenthesis first
E = exponents...u solve the exponents next
M = multiply , D = divide....starting from left and going right, u do all the multiplying and dividing
A = addition, S = subtraction...starting from left and going right, u do all the addition and subtraction

Well this is a hard question to answer, but this is how i would put it.

 You would take a number (lets use 15) and the second number (lets use 5) would determine how many times it would go into 15. In other words, 5 time x would equal 15 (5x=15). 5, being a factor of 15, would evenly fit into 15 three times.
