The phase is prophase, it’s the first phase of mitosis, during that phase, it separates the genetic material thats in the nuclear of a parent cell into two identical daughter cells and chromatin condenses. The nucleus is still visible in this stage
....meiosis.., however, I'm not sure that the zygote goes through division. After the two gametes intercept and FORM the zygote, I'm pretty sure the zygote doesn't deconstuct from a dipliod back into a hapliod
