Answer:

6 + 3i

Step-by-step explanation:

You can only combine like terms and because 5 and 1 doesn't a variable they can only add together. when a variable does not have a number in front of it, it automatically has a 1 in front of it, so 2i and i add to get 3i. It is in it's Simplest form.

yan [13]

(6) 70, 70, 110

∠2 = ∠4 = 110° ( congruent angles )

∠3 = 180° - 110° = 70° ( straight angle )

∠1 = 70° ( vertically opposite ∠3 )

(9) ∠AEC = 15x - 11

since EC bisects ∠BED then ∠BEC = ∠CED = 4x + 1

∠AEC = ∠AEB + ∠BEC = 11x - 12 + 4x + 1 = 15x - 11

(7) x = 3

AC = AB + ABC = 32

2x + 6x + 8 = 32

8x + 8 = 32 ( subtract 8 from both sides )

8x = 24 ( divide both sides by 8 )

x = 3

a shopkeeper sold goods for rs 2400 and made a profit of 25% in the process. find his profit per cent if he had sold his goods f
miv72 [106K]

case 1,

Let the CP be ₹x,

SP = ₹2400

Profit = SP – CP

= 2400 – x

Profit % = {(2400–x)/ x} × 100%

According to the question,

{(2400–x)/ x} × 100 = 25

=> (2400–x)/ x= 25 /100

=> 100(2400–x) = 25x [ cross multiplication]

=> 240000 – 100x = 25x

=> 240000 = 25x + 100x

=> 240000 = 125x

=> 240000/125 = x

=> x = 1920

So, CP = ₹1920

case 2,

SP = ₹2040

Profit = SP – CP

= 2040 – 1920

= ₹120

profit % = 120/1920 × 100%

= 16%

Thus, his profit would be 16% if he had sold his goods for ₹2040.
