The Cultural Revolution was a chaotic mass movement in the People's Republic of China. Mao Zedong launched it in 1966, claiming that elitists were undermining the government and Chinese society. Schools were closed and millions of young people were mobilized as Red Guards, who were encouraged to challenge old ways. Books and artwork were destroyed, along with thousands of museums and temples. Individuals in positions of authority were denounced and attacked, and widespread anarchy and terror disrupted the urban economy and industry. Officially, the Revolution was declared over in 1969. However, chaos and political power struggles continued until Mao's death in 1976. Since then, most of the tenets and reforms of the Cultural Revolution have been abandoned.

rodikova [14]
These are all aspects of emotional intelligence (also known as emotional quotient).
Emotional intelligence (EI) refers to the ability to understand and recognise your own emotions and feelings and the emotions of others. The theory of EI was first introduced by Michael Beldoch, but it gained popularity when journalist David Goleman wrote a book about EI. Goleman proposed a model of five factors, that could increase someone's success and leadership skills. These five factors are self-awareness (the ability to understand and evaluate your own feelings, thoughts, skills, weaknesses and goals), motivation, impulse control (self-regulation), mood management and people skills (empathy).

pshichka [43]

Answer:

As an ethnographer you should analyze your data as soon as you have collected it.

Explanation:

If the ethnographer waits until the end of the project he or she will have a huge amount of data to process, which will make it impossible to make an appropriate analysis. What is more, cualitative analysis require notes from context and it is impossible to remember little details of events that happened years ago.

egoroff_w [7]

This question is missing the options. I've found the complete question online. It is as follows:

Words and gestures people use to express thoughts, the monetary and credit system, even the architecture of some buildings were created before we were born. Indeed, these example show us that social facts __________.

a. do not originate with the people experiencing them.

b. live only within our conscious minds.

c. are rarely imposed upon us.

d. All of the above statements are TRUE regarding social facts.

Answer:

The correct answer is letter a. do not originate with the people experiencing them.

Explanation:

Social facts go beyond each individual. They are norms, traditions, rules, any type of collective and shared thought or idea that influences people's behaviors. When we are born, social facts are already imposed on us. We grow up learning how to behave according to what society considers to be appropriate. Social facts are found everywhere, even in the governmental system of our country, or the gestures people use to express their feelings. Therefore, they do no originate with us, the people who are experiencing them, but begin at a moment prior to ourselves.
