Answer:

BM = 12\,cm

Step-by-step explanation:

The height BM of the triangle can be determined by using the Pythagorean theorem:

BM = \sqrt{BC^{2}-\left(\frac{1}{2}\cdot AC \right)^{2}}

BM = \sqrt{(13\,cm)^{2}-(5\,cm)^{2}}

The height of the isosceles triangle is:

BM = 12\,cm

Rewrite sin(x)cos2(x) − sin(x) as an expression containing a single term
Veronika [31]

Answer:   -2sin³x

Step-by-step explanation:

cos ( x + y ) = cosx*cosy - sin y*sinx         (1)

if  x = y  (1)  could be express as: cos (2x) = cosx*cosx -sinx*sinx

cos 2x = cos²x -sin²x

Then   sin(x)*cos2(x) − sin(x)      ⇒ sinx * ( cos²x - sin²x ) - sinx

multiplying  sinx*cos²x -sin³x  -sinx

sinx (commom factor  sinx (cos²x -sin²x -1)    but   1-cos²x = sin²x

or -1 +cos²x = -sin²x          ⇒sinx( -sin²x -sin²x)   ⇒sinx (-2sin²x)

-2sin³x

What is 5×3 3/4 please help me
Sveta_85 [38]
The first thing that's easiest for me, at least, is to make the mixed number into an improper fraction. That would make this problem 5 x 15/4. Just make five into a fraction, 5/1 and then put it into the problem:

5/1 x 15/4 = 75/4

Now, put the answer you got back into a mixed number (if your teacher wants you to)

How many times does four go into 75? 18, with a remainder of 3. The answer as a mixed number would be 18 3/4 or 18.75
