It is illegal for the North Korean people to leave their country without the regime’s permission, and the regime attempts to restrict the people’s movement even inside their own country. If you wish to travel to another part of the country, you are supposed to have a specific purpose and obtain permission from your work unit. If you do not live in Pyongyang, the showcase capital where most resources are concentrated, you will likely be denied access. The regime has also forcibly relocated hundreds of thousands of North Koreans to less favorable parts of the country as a form of punishment and political persecution.

soldier1979 [14.2K]

Answer:

Ceiling

Explanation:

Ceiling effect is a research term, that describes the a situation in which subjects or participants scores stays at the upper end of the measurement.

It is also used in describing a phenomenon, in which independent variable (in this case, noise level) no longer has an effect on a dependent variable (participants) after some form of saturations has been reached.

Hence, in this case, the researcher finds that the participants who were tested received the highest scores for their comprehension irrespective of the noise levels, which is most likely due to a CEILING effect.

Karolina [17]
Guilty but Mentally Ill or GBMI is a judgment offered in some courts in cases relating to an insanity defense. This is where a perpetrator has undoubtedly committed the crimes but is mentally ill. This is a substitute for perpetrators who are mentally ill but whose sickness is not serious enough to dismiss them of criminal accountability.
