I think its one because 1/5 of 20 is four and 3/4 of 20 is 15. when you add them its 19. then subtract 19 from 20 to get 1.

Total cupcakes = 20

Vanilla cupcakes = 1/5 x 20 = 4

Chocolate cupcakes = 3/4 x 20 = 15

Cupcakes that are not vanilla or chocolate = 20 - 4 - 15 = 1

Answer: 1 cup cake is not vanilla or chocolate.

Rebecca ran 21 miles in 5 hours. If she ran at a constant speed, how many miles did she run in 2 hours? 8.4 miles 42 miles 4.2 m
Sholpan [36]

Answer: 8.4 miles

Step-by-step explanation:

d = rt

Solve for her rate

21 = 5r

r = 21/5

r = 4.2

Solve for if the time is 2 hours and rate (solved previously) is 4.2

d = 4.2*2

d = 8.4

A room is 20 feet long, 12 feet wide, and 10 feet high. What is the maximum distance from one corner to another
exis [7]

Answer:

25.38

Step-by-step explanation:

Its a 3-D block, so you have to find the distance from on corner to the opposite corner of the roof, but first find the distance from corner to corner on the floor.

20^2+12^2=c^2

400+144=544=c^2

c=\sqrt{544}

then find corner of floor to opposite roof corner.

100+544=644=c^2

c=\sqrt{644}

so its about 25.38 feet

Using everyday knowledge, indicate whether the if then statements are correct forward-only or both forward and reverse. Statemen
tankabanditka [31]

Answer:

The reason Statement 1 can be both forward and reverse is because is Bo and Mel are related then it will word forward and backward.

The reason Statement 2 can be only forward is because is the sprinklers are on then the grass is wet will work since it is saying ONLY the sprinklers are on. If it is reverse and the grass is wet if the sprinklers are ONLY on than that is false since if it rains than the grass can also be wet. So there are multiple ways that the grass can be wet hence the answers.
