Answer:

2HBr(g) → H₂ (g) + Br₂ (g)

2Al + Fe₂O₃   →  2Fe + Al₂O₃

2C₄H₆ + 11O₂   →  8CO₂ + 6H₂O

Ag + Pb₃(PO₄)₂  → No reaction

K₂CO₃ + Cal₂    →  2KI + CaCO₃

Explanation:

1st reaction:

2HBr(g) → H₂ (g) + Br₂ (g)

HBr produces hydrogen and bromine gas.

Second reaction:

2Al + Fe₂O₃   →  2Fe + Al₂O₃

Aluminium is more reactive than iron that's why it displace the iron from oxide and form aluminium oxide.

3rd reaction:

2C₄H₆ + 11O₂   →  8CO₂ + 6H₂O

Butyne burn in the presence of oxygen and produces carbondioxide and water.

4th reaction:

Ag + Pb₃(PO₄)₂  → No reaction

Because lead is more more reactive than silver that's why silver can not displace the lead to react with (PO₄)₂ .

5th reaction:

K₂CO₃ + Cal₂    →  2KI + CaCO₃

potassium carbonate react with calcium iodide and produces calcium carbonate and potassium iodide.

The combustion of ethane (C2H6) produces carbon dioxide and steam. 2C2H6(g)+7O2(g)⟶4CO2(g)+6H2O(g) How many moles of CO2 are pro
Gwar [14]

Answer: 11.2 moles of CO_2 are produced when 5.60 mol of ethane is burned in an excess of oxygen.

Explanation:

The combustion of ethane is represented using balanced chemical equation:

2C_2H_6(g)+7O_2(g)\rightarrow 4CO_2(g)+6H_2O(g)

As oxygen is preset in excess, ethane acts as the limiting reagent as it limits the formation of product.

According to stoichiometry :

2 moles of propane produces 4 moles of carbon dioxide

Thus 5.60 moles of propane will produce=\frac{4}{2}\times 5.60=11.2 moles of carbon dioxide

Thus 11.2 moles of CO_2 are produced when 5.60 mol of ethane is burned in an excess of oxygen.

How many grams are in 1.3 x 1024 atoms of hydrogen?
olga2289 [7]

Answer: 4.32g

Explanation:

MM of H2 = 1 x 2 = 2g/mol

2g of H2 contains 6.02x10^23 atoms.

Therefore Xg of H2 will contain 1.3 x 1024 atoms i.e

Xg of H2 = (2 x 1.3 x 1024) / 6.02x10^23 = 4.32g

What salt is produced in each of the following neutralization reactions? HNO3(aq)+KOH(aq)→H2O(l)+? HNO3(aq)+Ca(OH)2(aq)→H2O(l)+?
Igoryamba

Answer:

1. KNO3

2. Ca(NO3)2

3. CaCl2

4. KCl

Explanation:

In each of the neutralization reactions, the H from one of the reactant(acid) will combine with the OH from the other reactant (base) to form water while the other elements combine to give the salt as shown below:

1. HNO3 + KOH → H2O + KNO3

The salt produced is KNO3

2. 2HNO3 + Ca(OH)2 → 2H2O + Ca(NO3)2

The salt produced is Ca(NO3)2

3. 2HCl +Ca(OH)2 → 2H2O + CaCl2

The salt produced is CaCl2

4. HCl +KOH → H2O + KCl

The salt produced is KCl
