Answer:

Explanation:

p*V/T = constant , but p = constant => V/T = constant

Note: T must be in Kelvin.

V1/T1 = V2/T2

T2 = (V2/V1)* T1

T2 = (3.78/4.39)* (44+273) = 272.95 ≈ 273 K = 0° C

The temperature must be 0° C

The  temperature  of   balloon  that must   be cooled  to  reduce  its volume to  3.78l at   constant   pressure  is  calculated  using the  Charles  law  formula

that  is  V1/T1 =  V2/T2
V1= 4.39 L
T1=  44  +273  = 317K
v2=  3.78L
T2=?
  from the  equation  above  T2 =  V2  x T1/V1
=  3.78  x317/4.39  =  272.95  k  which  is  approximate   273 k
T2  =  273 k  or  O c

What happens to the reactivity of nonmetals within a group from top of the group to the bottom?
andreev551 [17]

As you go down a group, the atoms get bigger. The bigger the atom, the more unstable it is. The more unstable it is, the more reactive the atom will be. So, as you go down a group, the nonmetals will become more reactive.

Stimulation optimization helps
EastWind [94]
Optimization helps you make better choices when you have all the data, and simulation helps you understand the possible outcomes when you don’t. Frontline Solvers enable you to combine these analytic methods, so you can make better choices for decisions you do control, taking into account the range of potential outcomes for factors you don’t control.
