The places that are getting shut down (the non essential business) are losing a lot of money and some small business might not even be able to reopen after it’s over. People are losing jobs which is causing them to struggle to buy what they need and if people can’t buy because they have no money, then business won’t be able to sell cuz no one will buy (like what happen in the Great Depression)

Stocks are crashing and businesses are shutting down. Most people are staying in their home so businesses such as restaurants get less customers if they're still open. Based on supply and demand, if supply decreases, demand rises. Unless supply rises, the economy is going to keep dropping.
