Answer:

Probability = 0.0073

probability = 0.000007122

Step-by-step explanation:

given data

drawing = 10 cards

ordinary -card pack  = 52  pack

solution

we know that here drawings done with replacement so that there is Probability that not 2 card of the same denomination

so

Probability = Probability of selecting a card × Probability of selecting a card not of the first denomination × Probability of drawing a card not from 2 denominations and continuous so on .......

so

Probability = 1 × \frac{52-4}{52} \times \frac{52-8}{52} ... .... .... .... ... ...

Probability = 0.0073

and

when cards is drawn without replacement

probability = probability that exactly 9 of same suit and 10th of a different suit + Probability all 10 are of same suit

so

probability = \frac{\frac{4}{1}\times \frac{13}{9}\times \frac{52-13}{1} +  \frac{4}{1} \times \frac{13}{10}  }{\frac{52}{10} }

probability = 0.000007122

The number of pages read by two students each day for 5 days are listed in the table. Which statements are true about the data s
monitta

Answer:

  • The means for both data sets are equal.
  • The range of the number of pages Lionel read is greater than the range of the number of pages Aaron read.
  • The range of the number of pages that Lionel read is 75.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Lionel

90, 45, 30, 25, 15

Aaron

55, 19, 40, 16, 75

in the first case; For Lionel;

Mean = (90+45+30+25+15 )/5 = 41 and

Range = (90-15)=75

The second case; Aaron

Mean = (55+19+40+16+75)/5 = 41 and

Range = (75-16)= 59

Therefore;

Both data sets have the same mean but different range.

The range of the number of pages Lionel is 75, which is greater than the range of the number of pages Aaron read, which is 59.

Solve the equation 14y+82=6x-20 for x if y is 25
Leni [432]

Answer:

x= 226/3 or 75.33333333333333333333333333333

Step-by-step explanation:

14y+82=6x-20

y=25

Sub y=25 into 14y+82=6x-20

14y+82=6x-20

14(25)+82=6x-20

Calculate as follows:

14(25)+82=6x-20

350+82=6x-20

432=6x-20

Add twenty to both sides:

432+20=6x-20+20

452=6x-0

452=6x

Divide both sides by 6

452=6x

452/6=6x/6

452/6=x

x= 226/3 or 75.33333333333333333333333333333

Can someone help me with this question?
Crazy boy [7]

Answer:

m<S' = 115

Step-by-step explanation:

A translation is when one shifts the image over on a coordinate plane. A translation doesn't affect the image itself. Hence m<S is the same as m<S'. Therefore m<S' = 115
