Robin says that polynomials are closed under division. Brad adamantly disagrees. Who is correct? Justify your answer.
serious [3.7K]
Brad is correct.

Polynomials do not include negative exponents; this means there can be no variables in the denominator.  If two polynomials do not divide evenly, the remainder is written as a fraction with the divisor (which can include a variable) in the denominator.  This is not a polynomial.

shutvik [7]

Answer:

The answer is "k=k_1k_{2}^2"

Step-by-step explanation:

For point 1:

4NHH_3 \ (g) +5O_2\ (g) \leftrightharpoons 4NO\ (g) +6H_2O \ (g)..................k_1\\\\

For point 2:

2 \times(2\ NO\ (o)+O_2 \ (g) \leftrightharpoons 2NO_2\ (g)) ..................K_2\\\\

Adding k_1 equation and  multiply by 2 in the equation k_2 so we get  \to 4NH_3\ (g) +7 O_2\ (g) \leftrightharpoons 4 NO_2\(g) +6H_2O\ (g)....... k\\\\k= k_1\times k_{2}^2\\\\k=k_1k_{2}^2\\\\

A practice problem regarding quadrilateral
Vlad [161]
Okay, I’m pretty sire this is right.
A: (-1, 3)
B: (-3, 2)
C: (-8, 3)
D: (-4, 3)

To do this problem (I am not completely confident in this) I am pretty sure you flip the signs for both the x and y values due to the rotation of the shape 180°, then add 6 to the y value.
