Answer:

Carbohydrates that function as structural molecules withstand pulling and pushing forces well are Polysaccharides. Which structural feature is most directly responsible? The hydrogen bonds give structural strength and keep glucose molecules and chains closely together.

Explanation:

Polysaccharides are chains of more than ten monosaccharides, these carbohydrates are the most abundant and diverse, since they can have long and simple or branched chains. The best known are starch, glycogen and cellulose, these are made up of glucose monomers. We also find chitin, which is a polysaccharide that does not have glucose as a manomeric unit.

Cellulose: It is the main component of the plant wall and in all rigid parts, it is the structural polysaccharide of vegetables. It is formed by a linear glucose chain, which form microfibers connected to each other by hydrogen bonds.

Chitin: Formed by units of acetylglucosamine, it is the component of the exoskeleton of arthropods, the cell walls of fungi and some internal organs of molluscs and annelids. Like cellulose, the great structural resistance of chitin is due to the strong bonds of hydrogen bonds.

Compounds that act as a reservoir (or storage) of energy are starch and glycogen, in animals in the form of glycogen and in plants it is stored in the form of starch.

What do scientists know about fossils found in deeper layers of rock compared to
shusha [124]

Answer:

They know that layering, or bedding, is the most obvious feature of sedimentary rocks.  This Law of Superposition is fundamental to the interpretation of Earth history, because at any one location it indicates the relative ages of rock layers and the fossils in them. Layered rocks form when particles settle from water or air. That is kinda easy :D

Which is a correct interpretation of the cladogram shown below?
nataly862011 [7]

A cladogram is an image or a diagram that shows us an evolutionary relationship between different organisms. Up at the top we find the different organisms and their names. Along the side is where we find their characteristics. Anything that is past each characteristic will have that characteristic as you move up the cladogram. This diagram also shows which organisms are most closely related to one another.

Please see the image for an example. In this example we can see that the Koalas evolved after the trout.

I hope this helps, Regards.

Answer:

Gene therapy

Explanation:

Gene therapy can be defined as the methodologies used to modify/restore the expression of target genes and thus cure and treat genetic disorders. Gene therapy approaches consist of delivering specific nucleic acids (either RNA or DNA) in the cells of the individual to be treated. Some of the most important gene therapy approaches include the use of small interfering RNAs (siRNAs) in order to block target gene expression, adenovirus vectors to insert genes into host cells, the use of the CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing system to insert specific sequences by the mechanism of homologous recombination, etc.
