<span>An inaugural address is a speech for a very specific event—being sworn into the office of the presidency. The speeches of modern presidents share some commonalities in referencing American history, the importance of the occasion, and hope for the future. Each president, however, has faced the particular challenges of his time and put his own distinctive rhetorical stamp on the address.
</span><span>In this lesson plan, students consider the rhetorical devices in the address JFK delivered on January 20, 1961. They then analyze the suggestions made by Galbraith and Stevenson and compare them to the delivered version of the speech. Students then evaluate the impact of the changes on the resonance of the speech.

reading strategy in technical and scientific writing because it makes the
reader assess or evaluate the formal words or any jargon for a specific topic.
Then he/she will understand it on his/her own using context clues he/she could
analyze through the writings.</span>
Third Person omniscient means that the narrator can not only hear the protagonists thoughts but also everyone else. Therefore the story can be told from may different perspectives. Hope it helped :)
Lizabeth understands the destroying of Mrs. Lottie' marigolds as her final act of childhood, the final act of innocence.
Lizabeth feelings that led her to destroy the marigolds were "the great need for my mother who was never there, the hopelessness of our poverty and degradation, the bewilderment of being neither child nor woman and yet both at once, the fear unleashed by my father’s tears".
The story is situated during the Great Depression. Her mother is never home because she has to work, her father cries because he can't provide for his family. You add the hopelessness of their poverty and the fact that she is going through defining times between being a woman and a child she doesn't understand at the moment, she must have felt confused and lonely, which leads to the destruction of the marigolds as an impulse she can't control.
Before she has stated that she hated those marigolds because they have the nerve to be beautiful in the midst of ugliness, they didn't match with the house, the times, and what she was feeling inside.
