The hippocampus and amygdala are the two areas of the brain that are involved in the formation of implicit memories.

Further Explanation:

Brain is the organ of the body that controls various functions of the body and also interprets the information from external source. The brain is protected from the damage by the skull.

Parts of brain;

1. Cerebrum: serves as the largest part of the brain and performs the functions like interpretation of touch, vision and hearing.

2. Cerebellum: it functions in coordinating the muscle movements, maintains the posture and balance.

3. Brainstem: involves in performing many automatic functions like vomiting and coughing etc.

The five senses like sight, smell, touch, taste and hearing provides signal to the brain for interpretation. The brain assembles the information, decode it and can store it into the memory.

Hippocampus in the brain are associated with function of formation of new memories, learning and emotions. This is located above the ear.

Amygdala is associates with the role of processing the fear signals and in addition, it is also involved in forming memories. The signal from the stimulus is sent to amygdala that sends the same to the areas of the brain like hypothalamus to induce fight responses.

What three things did the original cell theory propose and wht three things does the current cell theory propose?
xeze [42]
(1) All living things are made up of cells, (2) Cells are the smallest units (or most basic building blocks) of life, and (3) All cells come from preexisting cells through the process of cell division. Cells were first observed by the natural philosopher Robert Hooke in 1665. Though many scientists contributed to the understanding of cells, Matthias Schleiden and Theodor Schwann are credited with describing the first two parts of the cell theory in 1839, and Rudolf Virchow with later contributing the third. Today, the cell theory is considered the foundation of biology.
