Answer:

y = 3x - 2

Step-by-step explanation:

<em>use y = mx + b</em>

y = -2

x = 0

m (slope) = 3

b (y-intercept) = -2, <em><u>since the point (0,-2) passes through the y a</u></em>xis.

<em>put is as slope-intercept form:</em>

y = 3x - 2

Find UV (Pic Stated Below)
natta225 [31]

Answer:

UV=29

Step-by-step explanation:

In right triangles AQB and AVB,

∠AQB = ∠AVB ...(i)  {Right angles}

∠QBA = ∠VBA ...(ii)  {Given that they are equal}

We know that sum of all three angles in a triangle is equal to 180 degree. So wee can write sum equation for each triangle

∠AQB+∠QBA+∠BAQ=180 ...(iii)

∠AVB+∠VBA+∠BAV=180 ...(iv)

using (iii) and (iv)

∠AQB+∠QBA+∠BAQ=∠AVB+∠VBA+∠BAV

∠AVB+∠VBA+∠BAQ=∠AVB+∠VBA+∠BAV  (using (i) and (ii))

∠BAQ=∠BAV...(v)

Now consider triangles AQB and AVB;

∠BAQ=∠BAV  {from (v)}

∠QBA = ∠VBA {from (ii)}

AB=AB  {common side}

So using ASA, triangles AQB and AVB are congruent.

We know that corresponding sides of congruent triangles are equal.

Hence

AQ=AV

5x+9=7x+1

9-1=7x-5x

8=2x

divide both sides by 2

4=x

Now plug value of x=4 into UV=7x+1

UV=7*4+1=28+1=29

<u>Hence UV=29 is final answer.</u>

Determine if the following triangle is a right triangle or not using the Pythagorean Theorem Converse. Triangle with side length
seraphim [82]

Answer:

A right triangle is a triangle in which one of the angles is a 90∘ angle. The "square" at the vertex of the angle indicates that it is 90 degrees. A triangle can be determined to be a right triangle if the side lengths are known.

Substitute u=\ln x, so that \mathrm du=\dfrac{\mathrm dx}x. The integral is then equivalent to

\displaystyle\int\frac{\mathrm dx}{x\ln^px}=\int\frac{\mathrm du}{u^p}=\begin{cases}\dfrac{u^{p+1}}{p+1}+C&\text{for }p\neq1\\\\\ln|u|+C&\text{for }p=1\end{cases}

Then transforming back to x gives

\displaystyle\int\frac{\mathrm dx}{x\ln^px}=\begin{cases}\dfrac{\ln^{p+1}x}{p+1}+C&\text{for }p\neq1\\\\\ln|\ln x|+C&\text{for }p=1\end{cases}
