Answer:

n = 6

Step-by-step explanation:

See attachment for diagram

Triangle PQR is similar to triangle FGH.

Similar triangles are similar in shape but different in size.

The ratio of their corresponding sides are equal.

QP=10.5

QR=9

RP=6

GF=7

HF=4

GH=n

(Hypotenuse in ∆PQR)/ (hypothenuse in ∆FGH)

=(Adjacent in ∆PQR)/(adjacent in ∆FGH)

= 6/4 = 9/n

Cross multiply

6×n = 9×4

6n = 36

n = 36/6

n = 6

Therefore ratio of their corresponding sides = 3/2

Make t the subject of the formula: S = at + bt
riadik2000 [5.3K]
To make t the subject is basically isolating t

S = at + bt
We see on the right side that t is common, so we factor it out.

S = t(a + b)
Divide by (a+b) to isolate t

\frac{S}{a + b} =  \frac{t(a+b)}{(a+b)}
a + b and a + b cancels out
We are left with the answer:
t = \frac{S}{a+b}

xenn [34]

Answer:

Kindly check explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that :

Total amount to spend = $55

Amount of food and drinks purchased = $14.25

Amount put on gaming card = $(55 - 14.25) = $40.75

Cost per game = $1.25

Number of games (g) he can play

Number of games g:

Amount put on gaming card / cost per game

= $40.75 / $1.25

= 32.6 games

g ≤ 32
