Reducing toxic hazardous waste
can be done through bioremediation. An example is composting. Composting is the
use of microorganisms in the presence of oxygen to degrade the toxic wastes
present in the soil. It may be placed in a container with holes on it and can
be rotated to allow oxygen to interact with the microorganisms and degrade the
wastes. Superfund is a program from EPA (Environmental Protection
Agency) that helps in cleaning some of the US’s most contaminated land and
responding to environmental emergencies, oil spills and natural disasters. One
of its targets this coming June 8 is the Portland Harbor.
It is the "Looking-Glass Self", a term coined by Charles Cooley that explains the importance of our perceptions of how other people perceive us. According to his theory, we cannot form a personal identity without interacting with others. The Looking Glass Self is simply the interactive process of seeing ourselves based on how other view us.
They stayed strong and fought for what they believed in. They didn't back down when they were told that they would fail. They weren't afraid to lose their lives for freedom and love and they were willing to do anything to make sure their families were free and protected.
I believe the answer is the feminist perspective.
The feminist perspective perceive gender as the role that a society expected to be done by a certain biological sex.
In order to tackle this problem, they aimed to prove that the female are just as capable as man in many roles that the society does not expect them to be.
