Sons of liberty was the group that led the protest on British Tea.It was later on known as the Boston Tea Party. It was a completely political protest that was held on 16th of December 1773. The entire shipment of tea that was sent by the East India Company of britain was thrown into the sea and totally wasted. Afetr this incident, the British government reacted very harshly and this gave rise to the great American revolution. This revolution was against the Tea Act that was passed in the British parliament in the year 1773.
