Answer:

The perimeter of Square B is (-24x+100) units much bigger than Square A.

Step-by-step explanation:

Side length of square A = (2x-7)

Side length of square B = (-4x+18)

Perimeter of a square is

Perimeter=4a

where, a is side length of square.

Perimeter of square A is

Perimeter=4(2x-7)=4(2x)+4(-7)=8x-28

Perimeter of square B is

Perimeter=4(-4x+18)=4(-4x)+4(18)=-16x+72

Difference between perimeter of Square B than Square A is

Difference=-16x+72-(8x-28)

Difference=-16x+72-8x+28

Combined like terms.

Difference=(-16x-8x)+(72+28)

Difference=-24x+100

Therefore, the perimeter of Square B is (-24x+100) units much bigger than Square A.

How much bigger is B than A , so Side length B- A = (-4x+18) - (2x-7) = -6x+25
So perimeter = 4x length = 4x(-6x+25) = -24x+100 = 100-24x
How much bigger? 100-24X

Answer:

x = -6

Step-by-step explanation:

The triangle in the picture is an isoceles triangle in which the measure of top vertex angle is given and one of the base angles is also given.

According to angle sum property of triangle , sum of measure of all the angles of traingle is 180°. Also, in isosceles triangle , the base angles are always equal to each other .

So,

34 + (x + 79) + (x + 79) = 180

=  > 2x + 158 + 34 = 180

=  > 2x +192 = 180

=  > 2x = 18 0 - 192 =  - 12

=  > x = \frac{12}{ - 2}  =  - 6

Determine the equation of the tangent line to the given path at the specified value of t. (sin(7t), cos(7t), 2t9/2); t=1
Reptile [31]

Answer:

P(t) = {sin7, cos7, 2} + (7cos7, -7sin7, 9)(t-1)

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation of the tangent line to the given path at the specified value of t is expressed as;

P(t) = f(t0) + f'(t0)(t - t0)

f(t0) = (sin(7t), cos(7t), 2t^9/2)

at t0 = 1;

f(t0) = {sin7(1), cos7(1), 2(1)^9/2}

f(t0) = {sin7, cos7, 2}

f'(t0) = (7cos7t, -7sin7t, 9/2{2t^9/2-1}

f'(t0) = (7cos7t, -7sin7t, 9t^7/2}

If t0 = 1

f'(1) = (7cos7(1), -7sin7(1), 9(1)^7/2)

f'(1) =(7cos7, -7sin7, 9)

Substituting the given function into the tangent equation will give:

P(t) = f(t0) + f'(t0)(t - t0)

P(t)= {sin7, cos7, 2} + (7cos7, -7sin7, 9)(t-1)

The final expression gives the equation of the tangent line to the path.
