The concentric rings of calcified intercellular substance arranged around Haversian  canals are called Lamellae

Explanation:

The microscopic tubes situating at the outer region of cortical bone which gives way to the nerves and blood vessels to travel through it is referred to as Haversian canals.  The channels of the canals are composed of concentric substance called Lamellae.

It surrounds the nerve cells and vessels of bones and makes a communication with cells of the bone through canaliculi. Lamellaes compose concentric rings made up of calcified intercellular substance around the tissue of bones.

wild animals like tiger, wolf, lion and leopard don't eat plants.does this mean that they can survive without plants? Can you provi
Novay_Z [31]

Answer:

Explanation:

No, they cannot survive without plants because carnivore eats the animals which is normally a herbivore and the herbivores eat plant. The animals which lion/wolf/tiger etc eats are mostly herbivores so herbivores would die if plants are not available and lion would not get food .

Lion like all other animals requires Oxygen for survival .The present stock of Oxygen would not lost long in absence of plants. Therefore plants are a must for survival of even the carnivores.

hope it helps
