Answer:

natural monopoly.

Explanation:

The cost involved in being a natural monopoly is usually high, that is why very few firms are allowed to provide the service of a natural monopoly.

For a natural monopoly, the commonest example is electricity service. In order to provide electricity service to a larger portion of a country, there must be provision of power base station and power lines.

The company offering this type of service would also ensure that homes, offices, government buildings are connected to these power lines and grid. Where several firms are involved in providing electricity service to a larger portion of a country, there would be chaos as different power lines would be crossing each others and so many power stations would be built.

Due to the limited firms involved in electricity provision, the whole process of plant installation, power distribution will be cheaper, efficient and safer than allowing multiple firms .

During the 19th the economics in most Latin American countries relied primarily on the expert of
Kaylis [27]

Most people were engaged in agriculture as in the U.S. in 1820. They farmed to feed and clothe themselves; in other words, they engaged in subsistence agriculture. Most people did not own land. The land was owned by a few, such as hacendados or the Roman Catholic Church.

There were export sectors in economies. Exports were of two basic kinds: agricultural and mineral. Argentina and Uruguay exported cattle hides and salted beef. Bolivia exported silver and mercury; Peru: silver and, later, guano; Colombia: precious metals and sugar; Brazil: sugar and, later, coffee; and Mexico: silver, gold, and cotton. Most of these exports went to Europe. Little went to each other. None of it in huge volumes even in Argentina until the late 19th century. The countries lacked capital, communications networks, and technology to develop the export business. Besides, the upper class was able to meet its needs without much economic expansion. Societies were run for the benefit of the upper classes.

vaieri [72.5K]

Answer:

Monique may have dependent personality disorder.

Explanation:

Personality disorders refer to a mental condition in which an individual has shown specific behaviors and emotions which don't fit in with society and are often misunderstood.

The dependent personality disorder is part of cluster C of the personality disorders, which tend to be fearful and generally have a lot of anxiety. In this particular case, the individual has an excessive need of having other take care of him/her and can have an extreme fear of separation.

In this case, Monique has a fear of separation from David, even though he is inconsiderate and she doesn't get mad at him. She depends on him even for cooking, in which case she probably depends on him for most of her life's areas.
