Answer:

The required figure or model which represents 0.63 is shown in figure 1. Hugh left with 0.37 piece of canvas.

Step-by-step explanation:

Consider the provided information.

We need to draw a model to represent this decimal.

We can use girds to write fraction and decimal.

0.63 is the same as \frac{63}{100}

These decimal and fraction are equivalent.

Now draw 100 grids and shade 63 out of them.

As shown in figure 1:

The figure 1 represents 0.63 or \frac{63}{100}.

The shaded are represents the 63 and there are total 100 grids out of which 37 grids are not shaded.

Hence, Hugh left with 0.37 piece of canvas.

The required figure or model which represents 0.63 is shown in figure 1. Hugh left with 0.37 piece of canvas.

.63 is a decimal. It represents part of something whole. I am not sure what you mean by model, but if .63 of the canvas is used, then 1-.63 is not used. 1 represents the full canvas.

1 - .63, or 1 minus .63 is equal to .37.
.37 of the canvas is left.

Carlos used 6 boards to build 2/3 of a front porch. How many boards will Carlos use to build the whole porch? Express your answe
antiseptic1488 [7]

Answer:

9 boards

Step-by-step explanation:

2/3 of the porch= 6 boards

so to figure out how much one third of the porch needs you find half of what it takes to fill in 2/3 of the porch and you get 3.

so 3=1/3 of the porch

then you simply do 3times 3 or 3+3+3 and you get 9

so it takes 9 boards to fill the whole porch

balu736 [363]

Answer:

I think its D)

Step-by-step explanation:

7x−3y+2=0

Add -7x to both sides.

7x−3y+2+−7x=0+−7x

−3y+2=−7x

Add -2 to both sides.

−3y+2+−2=−7x+−2

−3y=−7x−2

Divide both sides by -3.

−3y /−3  =  −7x−2 /−3

which equals d)
