Find the surface area of the figure below.

Mathematics
1 answer:
Verdich [7]3 years ago
4 0

Answer:

1275 yards

Step-by-step explanation:

  1. Find the area of the two triangles. To do that you multiply 15x13 to get 195 (this is the area of both of the triangles combined)
  2. Next, find the area of the three sides. To do this you multiply 24x15 to get 360 then multiply that by 3 because there is 3 sides. And you get 1080.
  3. Finally add the triangles and the sides 195+1080= 1275

On a 50-question test, a student answered 5 questions incorrectly. What percent did the student answer correctly? A. 45% B. 90%
nadya68 [22]
Hey there,

Pretend that 50 = 100

And that 5 = 10.

I did a 100 test unit test, and I got 10% wrong.

If you think about this, the answer would be 90%

So, it's the same in this case,

50 in half of 100

5 is half of 10.

So . . .

This would mean that your correct answer would be 90% because 5 in this case is to be considered to be 10.

Your correct answer is  . . . .

\boxed{\boxed{90 \ would \ be \ your \ correct \ answer }}

Hope this helps

Step-by-step explanation:

PEDMAS

P - Parenthesis

E - Exponents

D - Division

M - Multiplication

A - Addition

So, 2(5-3)^3+6^2

5 - 3 should be completed first as it is inside parenthesis

2(5-3)^3+6^2 = 2 *2^3 + 6^2

                     = 2 * 8 + 36            {exponents}

                     = 16 + 36              {Multiplication}
