Peristalsis is involuntary movements of the longitudinal and circular muscles, primarily in the digestive tract but occasionally in other hollow tubes of the body. It occurs in the stomach, esophagus, and intestines.

That's why when he came back to korea, he popularised it in the south. Kim ilsung wanted everyone on his side so he invaded the south in 1950.
