Jesus preached to the Jews to follow the law in Mathew 5:17-48 and on some occasions He himself did not strictly observe the law.He transgressed current opinions about some aspects especially the sabbath.The Jews opposed healing on the Sabbath but Jesus performed healing on Sabbath.He preached to them and said to them on Sabbath we should do good and by saving life was not evil.The often disagreed with Jesus but he used parables so that they would understand his message and change their way of doing things.
