According to data from the different census since the 1970´s, the increase of women, who are married, have children, and have a career, in fact, have become breadwinners in the home, has more than tripled. In fact, according to the data reported in different places, like the Washington Post, compared to the numbers from the last census, which took place in 2012, in 1970, less than a quarter of women who were married with children worked outside of their homes, or even had a profession. But what is more staggering is that since 2012, to this day, the numbers have increased even more, from 63.3% in 2012 to 64.4% in current days. This is why the statement that since the 1970´s there has been an increase in the number of married women with children who have careers, is true.
