The Bayeux Tapestry is created during the late 11th century by skilled embroiderers. It got its name because of its presence in Bayeux in France for many years. The central scene of the tapestry shows events that led up to the Battle of Hastings in 1066 AD. The central part highly depicts towards actions of the Norman Conquest over England.
It tells the story of the conflict between the Saxon King Harold, and William the Duke of Normandy, the Norman invasion of England, and the Norman victory over the Saxons at the Battle of Hastings.
Glass crafts are made by heating sand silica until it melts into a liquid state. The melted glass can then either be shaped by blowing the liquid glass or by pouring the melted glass into a mold. The shape and size of the finished piece depend on the tools and method used by the artist.
