B. X-linked. When traits are more common in males, this means that it is linked to the X chromosome and a dominant trait. In order for the trait to show, it would need one dominant gene. Since males only have one X chromosome, this makes the change of a gene being dominant 50/50. The daughters do not have it because they have the recessive form of the gene on both of their X chromosomes.
