The correct answer is A) 1888.

Albert Fall lost his only election in 1888.

In 1888, he lost an election to the House of Representatives for the state of New Mexico. Years later, in March 1912, he became Senator for New Mexico until 1921. Then, in the administration of President Warren G. Hardin, he was appointed Secretary of the Interior. Unfortunately for him, he was part of the famous political scandal known as the Teapot Dome Scandal, in which Fall was accused of leasing oil navy's reserves to private companies at very low rates.

The discovery of gold in transversal contributed to the start of
Nonamiya [84]

Answer:The goal of this unit is for students to understand the angles and the properties related

to parallel lines. Students will learn multiple methods for verifying that lines are parallel.

They will also understand the relationship of parallel lines to transversal lines.

It is important for students to see that mathematical concepts serve as useful means to

solving problems that affect our everyday lives. Parallel lines are important to

understand not only for a mathematics course, but also in everyday life such as in the

design of airports, railways, bridges, buildings and many more geometric components of

the real world.

In this five-lesson thematic unit, students will engage with the concept of parallel lines

cut by a transversal line as they design plans for various elements of a fictitious city.

Lessons 1 – 4 can be seen as “building block” lessons through which students acquire

and practice the skills needed to create the culminating city project. Lesson 5 is a

showcase lesson where students present their projects to the class and recap all that

they have learned throughout this thematic unit. Students will complete the city project

in groups of three or four. We believe that together, they can negotiate meaning and

deepen understanding as they work together to apply geometric concepts to each task.

Students will be given several criteria, which must be met in the design of their city, and

they will be asked to discuss how geometric methods can assist them in creating optimal

design for various elements of the city. For example, students will apply the angle

theorems to prove lines parallel, practice geometric proofs, constructions and discover

the connections to other topics. At the end of this project, students will be asked to

articulate their learning in written and oral summaries of their work to be presented to

their classmates in the final class lesson.

How would you rate the overall effectiveness of the articles of confederation
goldenfox [79]

Answer:

Hope this helps :)

Explanation:

The Articles of Confederation were not very effective to the U.S governments. In the short term, it seems like a great idea, but as time went on, the flaws of the A.O.C started to show. For example, there was no established military, making it hard for the United States to defend itself as a new country. Another flaw, and one of the biggest was that there was no executive branch. Due to this congress couldn't enforce or implement their laws that they passed. Other weaknesses include, no power to collect taxes, Congress couldn't regulate trade,  approval of nine states to enact a law, and no national court system. On top of all this in order to amend or get rid of the Articles of Confederation, an unanimous vote was needed. All of this made the Articles of Confederation very weak and not beneficial to the United States. I would say overall i would rate the A.O.C a 5 out of 10. This is because it had MANY flaws, but from these flaws the United States was able to make a constitution with more appropriate guidelines for the United States.
