One yard is 36 inches, 1.5 feet is 18 inches.

So the answer is...

  (36+3)*18*20

= 39*18*28

= 702*28

= 19,656

Cosines . Find A and include explanation please :)
Nataly [62]

using the law of cosines:

a^2 = b^2 + c^2 - 2*b*c*cos(A)

a = 90, b = 55, c = 50

90^2 = 55^2 + 50^2 - 2*55*50*cos(A)

8100 = 3025 + 2500 - 5500 * cos(A)

5500 * cos(A) = 3025 + 2500 - 8100

5500 * cos(A) = -2575

cos(A) = -103/220

A = arccos(-103/220)

A = 117.9 degrees

A box has length 5 feet, width 8 feet and height 3 inches. Find volume in cubic feet and in cubic inches
user100 [1]

Answer:

120 cubic feet

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula for volume = length x width x height. Therefore, in order to get the volume you multiply 5 , 8 and 3, and when you multiply all three you get 120 inches cubic feet.
