All matter is composed of very small particles called atoms. All atoms of a given element are identical.Atoms cannot be created, destroyed, or subdivided. In chemical reactions, atoms combine with or separate from other atoms. In chemical reactions, atoms combine with each other in simple, whole-number ratios to form combined atoms

A parent with the blood type A (genotype AO) and a parent with blood type B (genotype BO) have children with blood types A, B, a
garik1379 [7]

Answer:

Co-dominance because he expresses both of the alleles simultaneously

Explanation:

The ABO blood group system is used by humans. This blood group type is controlled by multiple alleles. Alleles A and B are both dominant over allele O but are co-dominant. Co-dominance is a type of inheritance pattern in which two alleles of a gene both express themselves i.e. neither is recessive.

This is the case of this family whose parents have a genotype of AO (blood type A) and BO (blood type B) respectively. The children have blood types A, B, and AB. However, the child with genotype AB possesses both the A and B allele, which are both expressed in his blood group (phenotype), hence, it can be said that the child is exhibiting CO-DOMINANCE for the blood group trait.

How is DNA copied?
Sedaia [141]

Answer:

The DNA is copied by B: The sense strand of DNA is used as a template to create both strands of the new double helix.

Explanation:

Ok, the DNA is "copied" in the tanscription process. The transcription is the process by which the information in a strand of DNA is copied into a new molecule of messenger RNA (mRNA). Also, the DNA safely stores genetic material.

During the process of transcription a single strand of RNA is synthesized using a double stranded DNA molecule as a template. The two strands of the DNA molecule are separated from one another, exposing the nitrogenous bases. Only one strand is actively used as a template in the transcription process, this is known as the sense strand, or template strand. The complementary DNA strand, the one that is not used, is called the nonsense or antisense strand.

Imagine that you are observing an enzyme-catalyzed reaction in the lab. Every time you add more enzyme, the reaction rate increa
Aleks04 [339]

Answer:

All the substrates are bound to the enzyme, thats why the reaction rate stopped increasing.

Explanation:

Actually an enzyme works by binding a substrate molecule to its active site, producing a product , resulting in an increase in the rate of reaction.

            Enzyme + substrate = Enzyme + product

Whenever enzymes are added , reaction rate increases as the substrates are being bound to the enzyme's active sites but then occurs a stage where further addition of enzyme cannot increase the reaction rate because all the substrates have bound to the enzyme and there are no substrates left. Hence the reaction rate stopped increasing.
