Let the length be 8x and the width = 5x, then
Perimeter = 2(length + width) = 2(8x + 5x) = 2(13x) = 26x
338 = 26x
x = 338/26 = 13

Therefore, length = 8x = 8 x 13 = 104

What is the slope of the line through (0,4) and (3,-2)?
Maru [420]

Answer:

The slope would be: -2

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the slope of these two points:

(0,4) and (3,-2)

You would have to use the formula of slope to find it.

The slope formula is:

<h2><u>y₂ - y₁  </u></h2><h2>X₂ - X₁  </h2>

So subsitute in Those two points

(0,4) would be your (x₁ , y₁)

(3,-2) would be your (x₂ , y₂)

So your formula witht he subsituted #'s in it would look like:

<h2><u>-2 - 4</u></h2><h2>3 - 2</h2>

Your answer would be:

<h2><u>-6</u></h2><h2> 3</h2>

Simplified, it is -2

<h3>So your slope is -2</h3>
