Note that when adding logs of the same base you multiply the insides of the log. Therefore:
㏒8(2)+log8(4x²)=log8(8x²)
log8(8x²)=1
8=8x²
x=√1, x=1,x=-1

Choose the solution for the equation.
n3 = 256
nignag [31]
It should be D (second column, bottom box). The answer can't be negative because the exponent is an odd number. You can also eliminate the two answers on row one, because the question isn't asking for the square root.

2(3/5n +3) - (2/3n-1)
borishaifa [10]

Hey there! :)

2(3/5n + 3) - (2/3n - 1)

Simplify.

(2 * 3/5n) + (2 * 3) - (2/3n -1)

Simplify.

6/5n + 6 - 2/3n + 1

Add like terms.

(6/5n - 2/3n) + (6 + 1)

Make the fractions have the same denominator by multiplying fraction 1 (6/5n) by 3/3 and fraction 2 (-2/3n) by 5/5.

6/5n * 3/3 = 18/15n

-2/3n * 5/5 = -10/15n

So, our new equation looks like this : (18/15n - 10/15n) + (6 + 1)

Simplify.

8/15n + 6 —> final answer.

Hope this helped! :)

The coordinate of two point P(4,6) and Q(5,-7) then find (abicissa of P) -(abicissa of Q)
grandymaker [24]

The value of (abscissa of P) -(abscissa of Q) is -1.

The given coordinates are P(4,6) and Q(5,-7).

We need to find (abscissa of P) -(abscissa of Q).

What is abscissa?

The horizontal coordinate of a point in a planar Cartesian coordinate system that is determined by measuring parallel to the x-axis is what abscissa stands for.

Now, (abscissa of P) -(abscissa of Q)=4-5=-1

Hence, the value of (abscissa of P) -(abscissa of Q) is -1.
