I believe your answer is B. Technology we have today wasn't available  100 years ago, and therefore studies and theories would also be different back then compared to the studies and theories we have today.

Answer:

Option B, New experimental processes provide new scientific evidence.

Explanation:

Rutherford and Thompson visualized the atom differently because they both used two different process to establish their concepts.

For instance Sir JJ Thompson used the cathode ray tube in which he introduced electron rays in a vacuum tube while Rutherford used alpha particles and made them shot gold foil plates . Thus, Thompson was able to detect the electron while Rutherford detected the nucleus with in an atom.

Since these two scientist used two different experimental process it can be said that option B is correct.

an insect population is growing in such a way that the number in each generation is approximately 1.5 times that of the previous
ruslelena [56]

Answer:

Approximately 338

Explanation:

Since each generation of the insect is approximately 1.5 times that of the previous generation. Therefore,

Population of insect in the first generation = 100

Population of insect in the second generation = 1.5 × 100

                                                                    = 150

Population of insect in the third generation = 1.5 × 150

                                                                     = 225

Population of insect in the fourth generation = 1.5 × 225

                                                                     = 337.5

The population of insect in the fourth generation is approximately 338.
