Depurination of purine bases results in an apurinic site. Assume a single depurination event occurs in the GC base pair of the s

equence below and is not repaired. Then, if two rounds of replication occur, which of the following DNA sequences will exist after two rounds of replication? Remember that when DNA polymerases encounter an apurinic site, most often an A is incorporated into the newly synthesized strand. Assume this is true for the sequence below.

F) ...TAAT...
...ATTA...
Single depurination event occurred in the GC base pair of the sequences so find the C in the 1st sequence & find the G in the 2nd sequence. These are not repaired, so the C & G are eliminated. Then 2 rounds of replication occur in the same spots where the C & G were. Take the letter previous to the empty spots & replicate it in the empty spots. TAAT. ATTA

rusak2 [61]

Answer:

E. glucosuria (glucose in the urine)

Explanation:

Generally, glycosuria occurs in patients with kidney changes due to diseases such as Wilson's disease or cystinosis, can also be a hereditary problem, but is not expected in patients with kidney damage caused by prolonged lithium use.

Normally, the kidneys filter the blood, eliminating all substances that are not necessary for the body to function, while glucose is reabsorbed in the blood because of its importance in energy production, but people with renal glycosuria do not reabsorb glucose. , which causes it to be eliminated in the urine, occurring glucosuria.

-why is respiration important for a cell?
Grace [21]
Respiration is how animal cells get their energy to preform their necessary functions. Plant cells don't use respiration, because they use photosynthesis. Photosynthesis turns light into energy.

Tid-bit of info:
Cellular Respiration Formula:
Sugar + Oxygen = Carbon Dioxide + Water + ATP
C₆H₁₂O₆ + O₂ = CO₂ + H₂O + ATP
Photosynthesis Formula:
Sunlight + Water + Carbon Dioxide = Oxygen + Sugar
Sunlight + H₂O + CO₂ = O₂ + C₆H₁₂O₆
