Answer:

b) reflection, refraction, and interference

Explanation:

When light incident on thin soap film then due to the change on medium a part of the light will reflect from the interface of the soap film and then remaining light will go into other medium.

This phenomenon of transferring light to other medium is known as refraction of light. Now this part of light will again go for interference when it incident on the next interface.

So again we will have some light reflected from that part and the remaining part will go out into air

So here in that case the reflected light from two parts of the thin soap film will show interference due to which we will get the colors.

so here all the phenomenon of light that is observed in the thin film is given as

b) reflection, refraction, and interference

The array of colors observed when viewing films of soap are caused by the interference, and from the reflections of light from two nearby surfaces (outer surface and inner surface). Among the choices, the closest answer would be B. reflection, refraction, and interference.

What causes a satellite to move tangentially to a circular path?
yawa3891 [41]

Explanation : We know that two forces acting on the satellite.

The speed of the satellite and the force of the gravity on the satellite then the result , the satellite moves around the earth in a circular motion.

A satellite to move tangentially to a circular path, while revolving around the circular path because the centripetal force is acting on it.

So, we can say gravity is responsible for the motion of the satellite in a circular path.

A body in simple harmonic motion has a displacement x that varies in time t according to the equation x = 5cos(π t + π/3) , wher
zhuklara [117]

Answer:

1/2 Hz

Explanation:

A simple harmonic motion has an equation in the form of

x(t) = Acos(\omega t - \phi)

where A is the amplitude, \omega = 2\pi f is the angular frequency and \phi is the initial phase.

Since our body has an equation of  x = 5cos(π t + π/3) we can equate \omega = \pi and solve for frequency f

2\pi f = \pi

f = 1/2 Hz

Compare the gravity between these pairs, each consisting of an Earth-like planet and its star. You are given the mass of the pla
Maru [420]

Answer:

The answer is below

Explanation:

Newton's law of gravity states that the force between two bodies is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them. The law is expressed by the formula:

F=G\frac{m_1m_2}{r^2} \\\\Where\ F=force,G=gravitational\ constant, m_1\ and\ m_1=mass\ of\ objects,r\ =distance\ between \ the\ two\ objects.

The masses and distances for this question is in common units, Therefore the result would be in ratios

a) 4 MEarth / 2 MSolar / 3 AU

The force (F) = (4 * 3) / 3² = 4/3

b) 1 MEarth / 1 MSolar / 1 AU

The force (F) = (1 * 1) / 1² = 1

c) 1 MEarth / 2 MSolar / 2 AU

The force (F) = (1 * 2) / 2² = 1/2

I need to find the current resistance and voltage for each in this complicated circuit plz help
konstantin123 [22]

Explanation:

The 11Ω, 22Ω, and 33Ω resistors are in parallel.  That combination is in series with the 4Ω and 10Ω resistors.

The net resistance is:

R = 4Ω + 10Ω + 1/(1/11Ω + 1/22Ω + 1/33Ω)

R = 20Ω

Using Ohm's law, we can find the current going through the 4Ω and 10Ω resistors:

V = IR

120 V = I (20Ω)

I = 6 A

So the voltage drops are:

V = (4Ω) (6A) = 24 V

V = (10Ω) (6A) = 60 V

That means the voltage drop across the 11Ω, 22Ω, and 33Ω resistors is:

V = 120 V − 24 V − 60 V

V = 36 V

So the currents are:

I = 36 V / 11 Ω = 3.27 A

I = 36 V / 22 Ω = 1.64 A

I = 36 V / 33 Ω = 1.09 A

If we wanted to, we could also show this using Kirchhoff's laws.
