We have volume of gasoline = 14.0 gallon

Time taken to fill automobile tank = 1.50 minutes

So volume rate = 14.0 gallon/1.50 minutes = 9.33 gallon/ minute

We have density of gasoline = 0.77 kg/L = 6.073 lb/US gal

Mass rate = Density * Volume rate

                 = 9.33 gallon/ minute*6.073 lb/US gal = 56.68 lb/min

So mass flow rate delivered by the gasoline pump in lbm/min = 56.68

Answer:

58.3 lbm/min

Explanation:

The density of gasoline is 6.25 lbm/gal. The mass corresponding to 14.0 gallons of gasoline is:

14.0 gal × (6.25 lbm/gal) = 87.5 lbm

87.5 pound-mass of gasoline are delivered by the pump for 1.50 minutes. The mass flow rate is:

87.5 lbm/1.50 min = 58.3 lbm/min

The mass flow rate is 58.3 lbm/min.

If a motorcycle accelerates uniformly from rest at 5 m / s2, how long does it take for it to reach a speed of 20 m / s.
irina1246 [14]

Answer:

4 seconds

Explanation:

Given:

v₀ = 0 m/s

v = 20 m/s

a = 5 m/s²

Find: t

v = at + v₀

20 m/s = (5 m/s²) t + 0 m/s

t = 4 s

A heat engine cycle is executed with steam in the saturation dome. The pressure of steam is 1.1 MPa during heat addition and 0.3
klio [65]

Answer:The highest possible efficiency of this heat engine is 11%

Explanation:

Saturated water temperature at  P1, Pressure in Heat addition,

1.1 MPa=185°C +273= 458K

Saturated water temperature at  P2, Pressure in Heat rejection,

0.3MPa=133.5°C+ 273=406.5K

The highest possible efficiency of any heat engine is the Carnot efficiency given as

Carnot efficiency,  ηmax = 1- (T2/ T1)

1- (406.5K/458K)

1-0.88755=0.112

=11%

Explain the relationship between electrical charge and force.
Radda [10]
The relationship between electrical and charge force is that electrical force strengthens and increases the energy pulses and reflects off an object and makes the force about two times greater with charge.
