Answer:

The right answer here is A. Killed dissidents.

Explanation:

Joseph Stalin achieved absolute power in the Soviet Union. He eliminated rivals in the party inner circles or made them escape into exile - such was the case of Leon Trotsky. He also pursued, jailed or killed dissidents; he forced the collectivization of land in Russia and Ukraine, ordering to kill any peasant opposed to giving up land - millions died in the collectivization process in the USSR in the 1920s-1930s-. Stalin ordered purges within the party and the military of people who were often innocent, guided by his paranoia. He concentrated top decision power within the party, and made Soviet propagandists depict him as a good leader who cared about the ordinary Soviet people and as a great Marxist thinker.

kumpel [21]

If I was an ordinary person in my 1930s and aged 40 with a middle income job such as an 'office assistant', I would not be in favour of helping other countries.

I would personally prefer a policy of isolation from the rest of the world. Primarily, this would be because I had seen with my very won eyes, the death and destruction bought on by World War I and more importantly the Great Depression.

With millions of job less people, poverty and people barely making ends meet, I would want our government to concentrate on the welfare of our own people, rather than go to war with countries thousands of miles away.

What are some ways that nationalism affected networks and production and distribution?
alukav5142 [94]

Nationalism is the identification with one's own nation and to the exclusion or detriment of the interests of other nations. Hence the effect is negative.

Effect of nationalism on networks, production and distribution

Nationalism affect networks, production and distribution in such a way that a significant proportion of consumers will not be willing to buy imported produce from countries that are in conflict with theirs. Hence, those whose ethnocentric and economic-centric relationship are strong would exhibit this trait.

The implication is that networking of good to to such country will be distorted, low production may set in, and by extension, distribution may need to follow other channels.

Therefore, the effects will be enormous and very negative to the producing countries.
