I'm not completely sure, but I think the answer is $52. First change 20% into a decimal, which is 0.20. Next, multiply 65 and 0.20. That will equal 13, which is how much money that is taken off. Finally, do 65-13=52. So that's how I got $52.

65*0.20=13 (0.20 because 20/100=20% is 0.20 in decimal form)
65-13=52

Solve the equation or formula for the indicated variable.
8090 [49]

Answer:

h = \frac{T - 2\pi r^{2}}{2\pi r}

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

T= 2rπh + 2πr²

Subtract terms that don't include the indicated variable from both sides:

T= 2rπh + 2πr²   ⇒   T - 2πr² = 2rπh

Divide values being multiplied by indicated variable from both sides:

T - 2πr² = 2rπh   ⇒   \frac{T - 2\pi r^{2}}{2\pi r} = h
