#1) What is the difference between strain theory and control theory?
Answer: The theory states that society puts pressure on individuals to achieve socially accepted goals though they lack the means, this leads to strain which may lead the individuals to commit crimes. One of the key principle of this theory is emotion as the motivator. Control theory deals with the behavior of dynamical systems with inputs, and how their behavior is modified by feedback. An interdisciplinary subfield of science, which originated in engineering and mathematics, and evolved into use by the social sciences.
