Answer: b. Global climate is complex, so changes in global climate are hard to predict.

Global warming is a phenomena of increase in the global temperature and the ill-effects associated with it like drying of the water body, melting of the glaciers, loss of biodiversity due to excessive heat present in the atmosphere and the trap heat liberated from the terrestrial land.

The prediction of the changes in the global climatic temperature is hard. As, the sunlight energy from the sun is trapped by the atmosphere as well as by the terrestrial land. Some of the trapped energy is reflected back to the space. This maintains the energy balance in earth. But due to the greenhouse effect and deforestation. The diatomic gases like carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide traps heat which makes the atmosphere warm. The abundance of gases in the atmosphere are responsible for the seasonal variations. Hence, making it difficult to predict the changes in the global climate.

2. How do the effects of insulin resistance compound to decrease cellular responses to insulin?
victus00 [196]

Answer and explanation;

-The insulin receptor itself has decreased kinase activity leading to fewer binding sites for singling effectors to become activated.

Therefore; the signaling effectors are less likely to be activated.

-Additionally,, feedback inhibition decreases signaling effector binding to receptor.

-The lack of activation of these initial signaling effectors prevents any subsequent steps from happening.

-We can thus conclude this by saying that higher insulin concentrations are necessary to obtain the same level of signaling leading to physiological effects that would exist in someone without type-2 diabetes.

-Also the requirement for higher insulin concentration means that the cells that respond to insulin are resistant to its effect.

Cloud [144]

Answer:

The correct option is A. dihybrid

Explanation:

A cross is drawn to generate the possible outcomes of traits being passed from parents to offsprings.

A monohybrid cross can be described as a cross in which only one trait is studied. For example, just studying the trait for eye colour.

A dihybrid cross can be described as a cross in which two traits are studies in a single cross. For example, studying the traits for eye colour and skin colour.
