Earlier African and then Asians and later it included other European nations. However, the reasons were economic but their justification was social and cultural. But the anti-immigrant forces failed to recognize that the population of the United States is mostly comprised of immigrants.

  1. Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson is considered one of the most influential Confederate  leaders of the Civil War.
  2. Coming from lowly beginnings and a broken family,  he rose to prominence in every aspect of his life, including his education,
