Answer:

performance decreased when landmarks were removed that has been viewed longer

Explanation:

Hamid et al. (2010) had participants navigate a maze while recording their eye movements. The maze contained landmarks on the walls at corners and at other positions that would not aid maze navigation. After participants learned the maze, the researchers removed half of the landmarks. The results of this study revealed that performance decreased when landmarks were removed that has been viewed longer

The reason performance decreased when landmarks were removed that has been veiwed longer is because though the landmarks does not aid im maze navigation the participants must have solicited the help of the landmarks for other things like remembering they had passed this particular location before or at a junction in the maze since the study started so removing it will throw them into confusion especially if the maze looks the same all round

Why does this statute raise equal protection issues instead of substantive due process concerns?
Trava [24]

Equal protection calls for state,to guarantee the same rights, priveleges, and protection for all the citizens. Substantive due process on the other hand calls upon court protection of certain fundamental rights from government interference, even if procedural protections are present or the rights are not specifically mentioned elsewhere in the US Constitution. The statute that was raised by the state conferred certain privileges on part of the motorists, requiring some to always wear helmets while others were not.
