Explanation:

Since 2 object are traveling the same distance and one object is travelling faster it will reach it destination more quickly. The distance to be covered is the same for both objects .  The one travelling more faster possess more speed than the other .

Speed tells you how fast an object is travelling . Speed is a scalar quantity . It has magnitude but no direction . The speed of an object is the distance covered divided by the time use to cover that distance. The faster object will require lesser time to reach it destination.

Generally, since both object are covering same distance and one object possess more speed , the one with the greater speed will definitely reach it destination before the other.
