Hello!

Step 1. Simplify each side of the equation... 1/2 x−6=−6+1/2x and 1/2 x+−6=−6+1/2x

Step 2. Subtract 1/2x from both sides... 1/2 x−6−1/2x=1/2x−6−1/2x

-6=-6

Step 3. Add 6 to both sides... −6+6=−6+6

0=0

Final answer: Basically all reall numbers could be a possible solution to this equation.

Hope I could help! :)

The following two sets of parametric functions both represent the same ellipse. Explain the difference between the graphs.
statuscvo [17]
The answer
ellipse main equatin is as follow:

X²/ a²   +  Y²/ b²  =1, where a≠0 and b≠0

for the first equation: x = 3 cos t and y = 8 sin t
we can write x² = 3² cos² t and y² = 8² sin² t
and then  x² /3²= cos² t and y²/8² =  sin² t
therefore,  x² /3²+ y²/8²  =  cos² t + sin² t = 1
equivalent to x² /3²+ y²/8²  = 1

for the second equation, x = 3 cos 4t and y = 8 sin 4t we found
x² /3²+ y²/8²  = cos² 4t + sin² 4t=1

As <ABC=40

3x-1+34-2x=40

x =40-34+1 = 7

In triangle ABD

3x-1 + 90 +3y + 6= 180

3(7) +3y +95 =180

3y= 180-95-21=64

Geometry

Radius of a Circle Formula: r = d/2

  • r is radius
  • d is diameter

Area of a Circle Formula: A = πr²

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1: Define

Diameter d = 18 units

Step 2: Manipulate Variables

Radius r = 18 units/2 = 9 units

Step 3: Find Area

  1. Substitute in r [Area of a Circle Formula]:                                                       A = π(9 units)²
  2. [Area] Evaluate exponents:                                                                              A = π(81 units²)
  3. [Area] Multiply:                                                                                                  A = 81π units²

Which postulate proves that the triangles below are similar?
Molodets [167]

Answer:

AA~

Step-by-step explanation:

These triangles are similar but not congruent. One triangle is bigger than the other, meaning none of the side lengths are the same. On the triangles, two angles are given, a 53 degree and a 90 meaning that you would us the AA rule to determine if they are similar. Which they are.
