Organisms that reproduce asexually usually do so by a form of cell division called...
marusya05 [52]
i think the answer is : A meiosis because The process of meiosis produces unique reproductive cells called gametes, which have half the number of chromosomes as the parent cell. Fertilization, the fusion of haploidgametes from two individuals, restores thediploid condition. Thus, sexually reproducing organisms alternate between haploid anddiploid stages.

The moon's synchronous orbit around earth is the direct result of the gravitational relationship between the two, causing a ____
PSYCHO15rus [73]
The answer should be Tidal Lock (A), because this is when the event of the orbital position of an object (Earth) is matching the same rotation period as the other object (Moon). When these rotations are the same, the moon will always be facing the same direction as the Earth. I believe you made a typo because Tidal Rock is not even considered to be a term in science. It is not a Solar Tide (that isn't even concerned with the moon facing the Earth), magnetosphere isn't even related to the moon but its magnetic field, and a tidal "bulge" is the complete opposite and has the moon facing the completely opposite direction. cestrela7 [59]

Energy in ecosystems must be continuously supplied by the sun  as the warmth from the sun allows plants to grow plus photosynthesis depends on the sun's energy also. Animals also depend on the sun for warmth to survive (or else hibernate). Also, the sun powers the water cycle, the carbon cycle and the nitrogen cycle

Leto [7]

Answer:

Diversity of the community = 2.097

Explanation:

Given:

Number of pitch pines = 134

Number of douglas firs = 24

Number of red pines = 53

Find:

Diversity of the community

Computation:

Simpson's diversity index = N(N-1)/Σn(n-1)

Particular              n n(n-1)

Pitch pine         134       17822

Douglas firs       24 552

Red pine            53  2756

Total       N=211 21130

So,

D= [211(211-1)] / 21130

D = 2.097

Diversity of the community = 2.097
